NoteHe is said to be the father of Edmund Harding. This connection appears on many trees on Ancestry but I have not seen any DNA links between Edmunds descendants and the other descendants of William. A document on-line of the formation of the Mead Estates building company in Dunstable in the 1930s says William was invalided out of active service in WW1 due too gas attacks. Perhaps he met Edmunds mother while convalescing?5
