Participated in the Galvez Expedition in 1779 which was the only American Revolutionary battle that took place outside the original 13 colonies. He was a planter, however, he supplied lumber to the Spanish colonial government. in 1814.2,6 
Death*14 JUN 1814 He died on 14 JUN 1814 at Bayou Goula, Ibreville Parish, Louisiana, USAG, aged 75.2
