She was married to Wilfred Van Gesen on Sept 27, 1916 in Canada. Mrs. Van Gesen had resided in Rome since her second marriage and was a member of Zion Episcopal Church. She was educated in London. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Otto (Harriett) Engelbrecht, Mrs. James P. (Rose) Kehoe, Mrs. Lloyd (Lillian) Blood and Mrs. Sexton, all of Rome, and Mrs. Garry (Vera) Spink, Blossvale, three sons, David and John Saker and Edward Van Gesen, all of Rome, a sister, Mrs. Joseph Smith, London, England; 19 grandchildren and14 great grandchildren. on 11 February 1958.13
Burial*		She was buried at Townsend Cemetery, Floyd, Oneida, New York, USA.14
