She lived in a very old house, 3 Church Street, opposite the Parish Church. It had a a very steep narrow & twisty staircase and was supposed to be haunted. I didn't like going there.9
Note 'We used to go for holidays to Market Deeping and they came to Poole. Grandpa (Phlip Smith) was a big man with white hair & beard, very religious, a strict Baptist, we used to go to church with him, a little place, there was no organ or piano. He started the hymns and everyone joined in.10
